Desiccators are glass containers used to store substances that need to be kept in a moisture-free environment. They consist of three parts: a lid, a body, and a perforated porcelain tray.
The moisture-absorbing material is located beneath the tray. Silica gel and anhydrous calcium chloride are used as moisture absorbers.
